{"id":24099,"date":"2012-10-11T17:05:55","date_gmt":"2012-10-11T15:05:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=24099"},"modified":"2012-10-12T09:26:34","modified_gmt":"2012-10-12T07:26:34","slug":"muvoni-acquires-criminal-checking-software","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/government\/24099\/muvoni-acquires-criminal-checking-software\/","title":{"rendered":"Muvoni acquires criminal checking software"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Listed group <a title=\"Muvoni Technology\" href=\"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/5390-Muvoni-Technology\">Muvoni Technology<\/a>, through its subsidiary, Ideco AFISwitch, has entered into an agreement with ZNG Technologies to purchase the intellectual property relating to software developed by the latter firm, for R6.5 million.<\/p>\n<p>The software is used by Ideco AFISwitch to conduct criminal record checks against the South African Police Service fingerprint database within South Africa.<\/p>\n<p>Ideco AFISwitch sells itself as South Africa&#8217;s sole provider to the private sector of automated criminal record checks.
