The Toyota Fortuner remains the runaway success story when it comes to SUVs in South Africa, again topping the sales charts mid way through the year.<\/p>\n

The Fortuner helped the Japanese car maker to the top of the pile in June – with 11,823 total units, some way ahead of Volkswagen and Nissan, with 6,715 and 4,977 units respectively.<\/p>\n

The SUV space has become a crowded segment, and has thus been separated into three categories: compact, medium, and large.<\/p>\n

Below, BusinessTech looks at the top 10 best-sellers in each of the following three categories for the month of June.<\/p>\n
