Datatec<\/a>, the listed ICT group, has announced that its subsidiary Logicalis<\/a> has acquired the Colombian and Ecuadorian operations of Cibercall<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Acquisition will be made by Logicalis\u2019 60% subsidiary Promon Logicalis Latin America Limited. The cash consideration has not been disclosed.<\/p>\n

Logicalis says the acquisition further builds\u00a0on its presence in Latin America, combining Cibercall\u2019s local market knowledge and strong customer relationships, with its existing ICT solutions portfolio, technical expertise and sound financial position.<\/p>\n

Cibercall\u2019s main vendor partner is Cisco Systems<\/a>, and this acquisition strengthens the already strong Logicalis – Cisco relationship, the group added.<\/p>\n

Cibercall\u2019s solutions portfolio includes implementation, support, training, help-desk and managed services. Cibercall has 45 employees and achieved unaudited revenues in excess of $12 million in its financial year ended 31 December 2011.<\/p>\n
