{"id":26707,"date":"2012-11-24T14:02:02","date_gmt":"2012-11-24T12:02:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=26707"},"modified":"2012-11-24T14:03:24","modified_gmt":"2012-11-24T12:03:24","slug":"tech-spending-forecasts-for-2013","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/it-services\/26707\/tech-spending-forecasts-for-2013\/","title":{"rendered":"Tech spending forecasts for 2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A combination of a depressed world economy and tougher regulation will make the financial markets rally to IT in order to underpin more risk-averse business strategies, according to a new report from <a title=\"Ovum\" href=\"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/5305-Ovum\">Ovum<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The advisory firm says that regulatory compliance in particular will place further IT investment requirements on market participants, with risk analytics becoming key.<\/p>\n<p>In particular, Ovum said that companies will harness emerging &#8220;in-memory&#8221;
