The future of retail is a seamless customer experience between all channels &#8211; whether bricks and mortar, mobile or web,\u201d said <a title=\"Richard Millson\" href=\"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/6190-Richard-Millson\">Richard Millson<\/a>, marketing director of <a title=\"Massdiscounters\" href=\"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/4933-Massmart\">Massdiscounters<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Millson said that the new online store opens up the DionWired product catalogue to a greater audience across the country.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo even though we have only 18 physical stores in major centres in South Africa, through our online store, we are now effectively present in every town and city across South Africa<strong>,\u201d <\/strong>he<strong> <\/strong>said.<\/p>\n<p>The online store also features a free return policy, where customers can return a product to a store within 10 days to be replaced or refunded.<\/p>\n<p>Security is a priority when using the online store, with DionWired assuring customers that bank-level encryption and credit card authentication systems are in place.<\/p>\n<p>The store is also pushing its real-time TV license verification feature \u2013 something unique to DionWired\u2019s online shop.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe identified this gap in the market whilst developing our online strategy. Online retailers weren\u2019t handling the TV licence checks very well or even legally in some cases.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We had an opportunity to make checks simple and seamless whilst also adhering to the <a title=\"SABC\" href=\"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/5190-South-African-Broadcasting-Corporation-%28SABC%29\">SABC<\/a>\u2019s strict legal requirements.
