{"id":27100,"date":"2012-11-22T10:51:19","date_gmt":"2012-11-22T08:51:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=27100"},"modified":"2012-11-22T14:45:02","modified_gmt":"2012-11-22T12:45:02","slug":"telkom-app-aims-to-improve-customer-service","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/mobile\/27100\/telkom-app-aims-to-improve-customer-service\/","title":{"rendered":"Telkom app aims to improve customer service"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a title=\"Telkom\" href=\"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/1637-Telkom\">Telkom<\/a> today (22 November 2012) unveiled a free iPad app which the company says is a significant step towards improving the company\u2019s services to its residential and business customers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe app was designed and developed as part of a wide-ranging drive to improve customer experience by offering convenience and ease of use,\u201d Telkom said in a press statement.<\/p>\n<p>The app will allow residential and business customers to log a service fault and track the progress to restoration.<\/p>\n<p>It further allows users to find the exact location of their nearest Telkom Direct store, check the progress of their order, view their account balance and browse through the latest promotions.<\/p>\n<p>The iPad app is now live and available for free download from the <a title=\"Apple\" href=\"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/1648-Apple\">Apple<\/a> App store.
