The other most attractive employers for engineering\/IT students are Microsoft, Apple, and BMW Group.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>According to Engineering\/IT Students:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a  data-lightbox=\"post-image\" href=\"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Universum.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-272693\" src=\"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Universum.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"428\" height=\"742\" srcset=\"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Universum.png 428w, https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Universum-173x300.png 173w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 428px) 100vw, 428px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Among the business talent, Goldman Sachs, EY (Ernst &amp; Young) and Deloitte are the most attractive employers behind Google.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>According to Business Students:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a  data-lightbox=\"post-image\" href=\"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Universum1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-272695\" src=\"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Universum1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"429\" height=\"660\" srcset=\"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Universum1.png 429w, https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Universum1-195x300.png 195w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 429px) 100vw, 429px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>For engineering and IT students, the rankings of consulting firms such as BCG, McKinsey, EY and PwC go up drastically compared to last year\u2019s rankings, due to the increasing demand from these companies to undertake digital transformation.<\/p>\n<p>Engineering\/IT students prefer industries where they can utilise their knowledge and skills the best. The software, computer services, multimedia industries (25%) are the most desired, followed by the aerospace and defence (21%), automotive (17%), technology hardware and equipment (16%), industrial engineering and manufacturing (16%) industries.<\/p>\n<p>Business students continue to strive for the management and strategy consulting (27%), financial services (25%) and banks (24%) industries.<\/p>\n<p>In China, maintaining work-life balance (54-55%) and job security (44-45%) remain the top two career goals for all young professionals.
