Pinnacle Technology has\u00a0announced\u00a0that\u00a0F C Smyth will be relinquishing his post of chief financial officer in\u00a0order to head up a newly created corporate finance department for the group.<\/p>\n
He will\u00a0also take on the post of company secretary and will retain responsibility for board and\u00a0shareholder management.\u00a0Smyth will step down from the board of Pinnacle, the group said.<\/p>\n
R D Lyon has been appointed as finance director of the group in Smyth\u00b4s stead, and\u00a0accordingly has been appointed an executive director of Pinnacle with effect from 1 January 2013.<\/p>\n
“J V Parkin steps down as company secretary in order to focus his efforts on his role as
\nchief operating officer of the group.<\/p>\n
“The board of directors of Pinnacle believes that these changes will strengthen the corporate\u00a0layer of management and will better position the Company to take advantage of future\u00a0growth opportunities. The board wishes Messrs Parkin, Lyon and Smyth success in their\u00a0new roles,” Pinnacle said in a statement.<\/p>\n
