Pinnacle Technology has acquired a 90% stake in JAG Engineering (SA), a\u00a0\u00a0Johannesburg based company that manufactures\u00a0server racking, wall boxes and IP enclosures.<\/p>\n
The purchase price was not disclosed.<\/p>\n
“JAG presents considerable strategic synergy for the group and will give us the
\nproductive capacity that will underpin our drive into the data centre design
\nand build space,”\u00a0said Nico\u00a0Steyn, MD of Datanet, the division under which Pinnacle
\ndistributes and markets server racking and other electronic enclosures.<\/p>\n
“This is a market that is becoming increasingly relevant with\u00a0current proliferation of cloud infrastructure and data consolidation,” he added.<\/p>\n
