South African motorists saw\u00a0 one of its biggest ever petrol price drops on Wednesday, with the price for both grades \u2013 93 and 95 of petrol \u2013 dropping by R1.84 per litre.<\/p>\n

Diesel also fell by R1.45 and R1.47, and illuminating paraffin by R1.33.<\/p>\n

The price cuts will have come as a relief for consumers after prices climbed to record-highs of R17.08 in November.<\/p>\n

With a number of motorists now gearing up for long trips away over the December holidays, BusinessTech looked at how much it will now cost you to travel 100km on South Africa\u2019s roads based on\u00a0Naamsa\u2019s latest list of bestselling vehicles for November 2018.<\/p>\n

The prices for 95 and 93 petrol were used for comparison\u00a0purposes, although the manufacturer may have a specific fuel recommendation.<\/p>\n
