Google<\/a> is warning users that the EFT section of the Absa Capital<\/a> website contains malware and is \u201cvery likely to infect your computer\u201d.<\/p>\n

Google Chrome is currently blocking access to etf.absacapital.com, warning users that visitors may suffer \u201cidentity theft, financial loss, and permanent file deletion\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cOf the 2 pages we tested on the site over the past 90 days, 2 page(s) resulted in malicious software being downloaded and installed without user consent,\u201d Google explained.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe last time Google visited this site was on 2012-12-31, and the last time suspicious content was found on this site was on 2012-12-31.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Google, malicious software is hosted on 1 domain(s), including donationwarecallers [dot] info.<\/p>\n

\u201c1 domain(s) appear to be functioning as intermediaries for distributing malware to visitors of this site, including 98.130.247.0\/,\u201d Google explained.<\/p>\n

Absa was contacted about the Google malware warning, but the company did not respond by the time of publication.<\/p>\n
