{"id":29418,"date":"2013-01-08T08:52:39","date_gmt":"2013-01-08T06:52:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=29418"},"modified":"2013-01-08T09:03:31","modified_gmt":"2013-01-08T07:03:31","slug":"outa-to-appeal-e-toll-judgment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/government\/29418\/outa-to-appeal-e-toll-judgment\/","title":{"rendered":"Outa to appeal e-toll judgment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Opposition to Urban Tolling Alliance (<a title=\"Outa\" href=\"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/1949-OUTA-Opposition-to-Urban-Tolling-Alliance\">Outa<\/a>) will appeal a court ruling that thwarted its bid to have e-tolls in Gauteng scrapped, it said on Monday evening.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We will be appealing the e-toll judgment,&#8221; chairman <a title=\"Wayne Duvenage\" href=\"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/1723-Wayne-Duvenage\">Wayne Duvenage<\/a> said.<\/p>\n<p>On December 13 the High Court in Pretoria dismissed an application by Outa to have the electronic tolling of Gauteng&#8217;s major roads scrapped.<\/p>\n<p>The court ordered Outa to pay the legal costs of the application.
