{"id":301872,"date":"2019-02-26T09:07:14","date_gmt":"2019-02-26T07:07:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=301872"},"modified":"2019-02-26T09:09:26","modified_gmt":"2019-02-26T07:09:26","slug":"cell-c-workers-protest-over-unpaid-bonuses","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/mobile\/301872\/cell-c-workers-protest-over-unpaid-bonuses\/","title":{"rendered":"Cell C workers protest over unpaid bonuses"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Cell C\u2019s head office in Woodmead had its front gates shut this morning as staff protested over bonuses which they said were owed to them.<\/p>\n<p>Cell C confirmed to MyBroadband that employees who belong to ICTU have embarked on industrial action.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis relates to bonus payments made in 2018 for work-related performance in 2017. Cell C is engaging with the ICTU leadership and its members to work towards a positive outcome,\u201d said Cell C.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPlans to minimise disruptions to both Cell C\u2019s business and its service to customers are in place.
