{"id":30795,"date":"2013-01-29T18:08:05","date_gmt":"2013-01-29T16:08:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=30795"},"modified":"2013-01-29T18:08:48","modified_gmt":"2013-01-29T16:08:48","slug":"rims-blackberry-music-confirmed-for-sa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/mobile\/30795\/rims-blackberry-music-confirmed-for-sa\/","title":{"rendered":"RIM&#8217;s BlackBerry music confirmed for SA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The BlackBerry World\u2019s DRM-free music catalogue will be available to South Africans when the new BlackBerry 10 devices launch in the country, Research In Motion announced in a press statement today (29 January 2013).<\/p>\n<p>The BlackBerry World storefront\u2019s music download section will feature an extensive catalog of DRM-free music from all major and independent labels including Sony Music Entertainment, Universal Music Group and Warner Music Group.<\/p>\n<p>The music section will initially be available in 18 countries, including South Africa.<\/p>\n<p>The full list of countries are: Canada, USA, UK, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, South Africa, Spain, Australia, India, Malaysia, New Zealand and Singapore.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMusic and video content is an integral part of a rich mobile experience.
