To achieve this we need to take a very focused approach to what Mxit does and does not do,” Swart said at the time.

According to Mxit, the R100 million investment, as well as the savings from company-wide cost cutting, will be channelled into key growth areas to push its new strategy.

This includes self-service community creation tools, developer support, technology innovation, advertising partnerships and collaboration with key companies and brands.

More Mxit articles

No merry Christmas for Mxit

Alan Knott-Craig Jnr leaves Mxit

Mxit: on the money

Mxit-Motribe deal details

Mxit has lunched a preferred developer program (PDP) to encourage the development of third-party apps on the platform.

[34
5107,5108,26,1573,5109
post-30996","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-mobile","tag-andy-volk","tag-app-development","tag-headline","tag-mxit","tag-open-platform
["GET
