{"id":315392,"date":"2019-05-07T09:01:28","date_gmt":"2019-05-07T07:01:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=315392"},"modified":"2019-05-07T09:02:14","modified_gmt":"2019-05-07T07:02:14","slug":"flysafair-offering-tickets-for-r5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/business\/315392\/flysafair-offering-tickets-for-r5\/","title":{"rendered":"FlySafair offering tickets for R5"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Low-cost airline FlySafair has launched its R5 a flight sale for 2019.<\/p>\n<p>According to the company\u2019s website, 45,000 tickets will officially go on sale at 09h00 on Tuesday morning (7 May), ending at 17h00, or when all tickets are sold out.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The R5 tickets include all airport taxes and VAT, but exclude any additional services such as (but not limited to) checked luggage, priority boarding and seat pre-selection,&#8221; it said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;FlySafair will make a selection of one-way flight tickets available for sale at R5.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;These tickets will only be available for selected departures between 08 May 2019 and end September 2019.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The airline warned that access to the website to make a purchase would be limited by means of a &#8216;waiting room&#8217; facility &#8211; designed to preserve the integrity of the website and protect it against the heavy traffic demand.<\/p>\n<p>Shortly before the sale was due to go live, the airline said that its website was <strong>facing some technical difficulties<\/strong>, but that it was working to rectify the problem.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Whoops &#8211; a few of our servers are having a speed wobble &#8211; you guys are going mad!
