{"id":315568,"date":"2019-05-08T08:00:25","date_gmt":"2019-05-08T06:00:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=315568"},"modified":"2019-05-09T10:44:18","modified_gmt":"2019-05-09T08:44:18","slug":"2019-national-elections-where-to-check-the-results","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/government\/315568\/2019-national-elections-where-to-check-the-results\/","title":{"rendered":"2019 National Elections &#8211; where to check the results"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>South Africans head to the polls today to vote in the country&#8217;s sixth national elections.<\/p>\n<p>Over 26.7 million people registered to vote in the 2019 elections, with around 70% of that number (18.7 million) expected to actually show up to vote today.<\/p>\n<p>The country&#8217;s close to 23,000 voting stations will remain open through to 21h00 this evening, with vote counts updating throughout the day.
