Sabinet has announced that South African labour courts will gain access to free WiFi through G-Connect.<\/p>\n
Sabinet is an online electronic information facilitator which offers access to digital libraries in various sectors.<\/p>\n
The company recently launched its legal products and services which consists of more than 380 Acts and Ordinances still currently in force and applicable to all South African Provinces from 1910 to date.<\/p>\n
The WiFi service, which is sponsored by Sabinet, will be available in most sections of the labour courts, Sabinet said, including judges’ chambers, court rooms, the library and the pro bono office.<\/p>\n
Sabinet managing director, Rosalind Hattingh, said that the service will help people involved in the labour courts to effectively make use of information available through Sabinet.<\/p>\n
“We strongly believe that fast and efficient connectivity to updated online information has become essential for members of the law fraternity to carry out their daily duties,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
The G-Connect WiFi service is already active in the Johannesburg Labour Court, with other courts soon to follow.<\/p>\n
