{"id":320945,"date":"2019-06-10T18:00:13","date_gmt":"2019-06-10T16:00:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=320945"},"modified":"2019-06-10T16:44:39","modified_gmt":"2019-06-10T14:44:39","slug":"this-is-how-much-petrol-attendants-get-tipped-in-south-africa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/finance\/320945\/this-is-how-much-petrol-attendants-get-tipped-in-south-africa\/","title":{"rendered":"This is how much petrol attendants get tipped in South Africa"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>BusinessTech recently surveyed readers on how much they tip petrol attendants.<\/p>\n<p>Much like other service industries, petrol attendants supplement their wages through tips.<\/p>\n<p>However, with the public facing increasing road related hikes in the coming months, tipping may take a back seat as motorists continue to feel the pinch.<\/p>\n<p>The survey had 5,809 respondents with 40% indicating that they do not tip at all.
