{"id":32809,"date":"2013-03-04T21:11:01","date_gmt":"2013-03-04T19:11:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=32809"},"modified":"2013-03-05T17:26:37","modified_gmt":"2013-03-05T15:26:37","slug":"dstv-unveils-boxoffice-online","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/trending\/32809\/dstv-unveils-boxoffice-online\/","title":{"rendered":"DStv unveils BoxOffice online"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a title=\"DStv\" href=\"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/2239-DStv\">DStv<\/a> has officially launched an online version of its BoxOffice movie rental service, which is also available to non subscribers in South Africa.<\/p>\n<p>BoxOffice Online offers a selection of new movie releases and classics that customers can rent and stream directly from the BoxOffice website, or rent and download via the DStv Desktop Player app.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a title=\"Multichoice\" href=\"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/1878-MultiChoice\">Multichoice<\/a>, no DStv subscription is required to access the service. Customers need only sign up for a BoxOffice Account, which will enable them to use any number of payment methods available to rent and watch movies online or via the DStv Desktop Player.<\/p>\n<p>BoxOffice Online works in a similar fashion to the service on PVRs, giving customers a selection of movies that they can rent and watch as many times as they like for a 48 hours period.
