Neotel<\/a> has announced the launch of NeoSmart – a business product designed to combine accessibility and connectivity with affordable fixed-line rates, which the company describes as\u00a0South Africa\u2019s first “mobile smart landline”.<\/p>\n

For a fixed monthly fee, the new product leverages both Neotel\u2019s landline rates and the newly-launched FreeCallZone, which offers free calls to all Neotel numbers within a selected zone.<\/p>\n

This means that businesses can create their own FreeTalkZone which will allow employees to call each other for free whether they are in the same building, same city or across the country.<\/p>\n

FreeTalkZone is a standard voice value added service which is bundled with but not limited to NeoSmart and can also be added to any of Neotel\u2019s existing post-paid voice services.<\/p>\n

NeoSmart is being delivered in partnership with HTC<\/a> and the HTC Desire – a dual network Android device, which allows for both CDMA (landline) and GSM (mobile phone) technologies.<\/p>\n

“NeoSmart delivers constant accessibility through a dual network smart phone to give customers connectivity to their landline and mobile number on a single smart device,” said\u00a0Abid Qadiri<\/a>, chief of business solutions at Neotel.<\/p>\n

“This means that businesses of all sizes can take advantage of increased flexibility while drastically reducing their overall telecommunications spend. It means employees will always be connected, in or out of the office,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

NeoSmart is available with a choice of monthly package rates – ranging from R399 to R599 – each of which includes free minutes, free data and free SMSs.<\/p>\n

The HTC Desire VC is available on a 24 month contract from Neotel on the following packages:<\/p>\n
