Samsung<\/a> South Africa has said that the deal with Vodacom<\/a> Business to provide “premium services” to enterprise is non-exclusive, and that it’s open to forming similar relationships with other operators.<\/p>\n

Speaking to media at the Samsung Africa Forum in Cape Town, Samsung South Africa head of Mobile, Paulo Ferreira<\/a> said that working with the other operators is “a matter of time”.<\/p>\n

“Samsung is equally open to engaging in similar partnerships with other South African operators,” he said.<\/p>\n

Samsung South Africa and Vodacom\u2019s business arm have entered into an agreement that will see the two companies collaborating on mobile and network infrastructure services for businesses.<\/p>\n

The partnership is aimed at providing \u201cpremium services to organisations who want to benefit from a more integrated mobile solution portfolio\u201d.<\/p>\n

In the partnership, Samsung devices will have customised services provided by Vodacom, catering for specific enterprise customers.<\/p>\n

Samsung will provide Vodacom with an on-site team for the provision of the services, which will be able to leverage the technology and footprint of Vodacom\u2019s network.<\/p>\n

The initial phase of the agreement is focused on mobile solutions for the enterprise, but will be extended to other multimedia devices down the line, depending on the company\u2019s needs.<\/p>\n
