{"id":34347,"date":"2013-03-26T11:28:11","date_gmt":"2013-03-26T09:28:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=34347"},"modified":"2013-03-26T11:29:53","modified_gmt":"2013-03-26T09:29:53","slug":"sa-a-top-investment-destination-premier","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/trending\/34347\/sa-a-top-investment-destination-premier\/","title":{"rendered":"SA a top investment destination: premier"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>South Africa was one of the three leaders in the world as an investment destination, premier Zweli Mkhize said in Durban on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Mkhize said research by Ernst and Young, which surveyed 5000 investors, found that 41 percent of respondents chose South Africa as the first choice of destination.<\/p>\n<p>Mkhize was speaking at the Brics business forum at the Durban Exhibition Centre. Brics is an economic bloc representing five of the world&#8217;s leading emerging economies: Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa.<\/p>\n<p>Mkhize said one of the advantages of hosting the Brics summit was that it opened opportunities to trade with Africa. He said KwaZulu-Natal had the second largest economy in the country.
