The price of petrol (95ULP) will increase by 10 cents a litre at the coast and 12 cents a litre in Gauteng, with effect from midnight on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
The wholesale price of diesel with a sulphur content of 0.05 percent will rise by seven and nine cents a litre respectively, and that of diesel with a sulphur content of 0.005 percent by eight and 10 cents a litre, the energy department said in a statement on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
The wholesale price of illuminating paraffin would increase by 30 cents a litre at the coast and 26 cents in Gauteng.<\/p>\n
During the period under review, the average international product prices of petrol, diesel, and illuminating paraffin decreased, but the average rand\/US dollar exchange rate weakened.<\/p>\n
