Cell C<\/a> is sending a clear message to its customers and competitors by introducing several new promotional rates for its contract data offerings.<\/p>\n

\u201cCell C has always provided customers with the best data propositions and is determined to continue offering the best value products available to data users in the South African mobile market,\u201d said Cell C CEO Alan Knott-Craig<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe already offer the best out of bundle rate, and coupled with these price cuts, we know customers will be pleased.\u201d<\/p>\n

Contract subscribers can now purchase Cell C\u2019s 500MB per month offering for R39 per month.<\/p>\n

The 1GB per month offering will now cost R69 per month, which is an effective rate of 7c per MB.<\/p>\n

For top-end contract customers, the new price for the 10GB monthly package will cost R499 per month, and 20GB, R999 per month.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith these new rates, we are telling our customers that Cell C is willing to compete to provide the best offerings on the market. There is no out of bundle shock, because all these new rates have the same out of bundle rate of 15c, the best available on the market,\u201d said Knott-Craig.<\/p>\n

Cell C will continue to offer its Giga promotional packages, which provide customers with large volumes of midnight data (for use between 00h00 and 06h00am daily).<\/p>\n

Giga 20 on contract and top up offers the best value 5GB offering at only R189 per month with the additional benefit of 15GB midnight data.<\/p>\n

The new promotional offers will be effective from Tuesday 09th April and will run for 3 months (until 30 June). The table below details Cell C\u2019s current data promotions:<\/p>\n
