A new luxury hotel built out of container ships has launched in the UK, called the Stow Away<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Stow Away is a new sustainable and eco friendly ‘apart hotel’ concept, with the first base in Waterloo, London, built from 26 re-purposed shipping containers.<\/p>\n

The concept was designed and realised by design studio Doone Silver Kerr, built through a joint venture between Stow Projects and Ciel Capital and managed by hospitality group, BridgeStreet.<\/p>\n

Bookings and check-in are all handled through the group’s smartphone app, which also doubles as the ‘hotel room key’ to gain access to the rooms.<\/p>\n

Prices vary, but an overnight stay on a Friday night can be booked for \u00a3175 (R3,300 at current exchange rates).<\/p>\n

Each Stow-Away room (called ‘studios’) includes:<\/p>\n
