{"id":356037,"date":"2019-11-21T12:10:59","date_gmt":"2019-11-21T10:10:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=356037"},"modified":"2020-02-21T18:05:38","modified_gmt":"2020-02-21T16:05:38","slug":"here-are-makros-black-friday-deals-for-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/black-friday\/356037\/here-are-makros-black-friday-deals-for-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"Here are Makro&#8217;s Black Friday deals for 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Makro has published a brochure containing some of its top deals for <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/black-friday\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Black Friday<\/a><\/strong> 2019.<\/p>\n<p>While Black Friday is set to fall on 29 November 2019, the retailer said that it will run its deals over five days &#8211; from 27 November to 1 December &#8211; dubbed \u2018Black 5 Day\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Makro said that the preparations for South Africa\u2019s biggest shopping day start months in advance.<\/p>\n<p>Makro added that Black Friday provides an opportunity to focus on certain new technologies and features that will help deal with the influx of shoppers.<\/p>\n<p>In 2018 this included an \u2018online drive-thru service\u2019 at the Makro Riversands store, with Makro focusing on checkout process in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have been focusing on improving our checkout process by reducing queues through the mobile pay-point system,\u201d it said,<\/p>\n<p>It added that it will also be focusing on special deals through its mobile app.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur aim is to save customers money over the period.
