Samsung recently unveiled its new Galaxy smartphones at its Unpacked 2020 event.<\/p>\n

The lineup of cutting-edge devices includes the Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra, as well as the foldable Galaxy Z Flip.<\/p>\n

Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip sports a new form factor, departing from the Galaxy Fold’s vertical folding mechanism for a horizontally-folding clamshell design.<\/p>\n

The Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra all support optional 5G connectivity, with the latter boasting a powerful camera with up to 100x zoom.<\/p>\n

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip<\/h3>\n

The Galaxy Z Flip sports a clamshell folding design with the main display folding along its horizontal axis.<\/p>\n

This gives the device a much smaller form factor when closed, where notifications and other information is displayed on a smaller display on the outside of the device.<\/p>\n

The Galaxy Z Flip sports a main 6.7-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2,636 x 1,080 and a 1.06-inch 300 x 116 panel on the back.<\/p>\n

In terms of internal hardware, the Z Flip will ship with a Snapdragon 855+ processor, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, and a 3,300mAh battery.<\/p>\n

The device’s operating system is optimised for its unique form factor, too, offering a number of tailored camera and notification features.<\/p>\n

Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip is set to launch in South Africa on 22 February 2020 and will be priced at R29,999.<\/p>\n

The device will also be available on contract.<\/p>\n

Samsung Galaxy S20<\/h3>\n

The new Samsung Galaxy S20 smartphones all sport upgraded camera systems and support for 5G connectivity – in addition to improved display technology.<\/p>\n

The Samsung Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra offer 6.2-inch, 6.7-inch, and 6.9-inch OLED displays respectively, each with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.<\/p>\n

Samsung’s Galaxy S20 Ultra is the top of the range, offering a highly-advanced camera system with up to 100x Super Resolution zoom.<\/p>\n

The smartphones are powered by Samsung\u2019s Exynos 990 chipset, which can be paired with a 5G modem for high-speed connectivity.<\/p>\n

Samsung\u2019s Galaxy S20 Ultra also boasts 12GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, expandable via a MicroSD card, and a dedicated TOF lens which delivers improved depth sensor effects.<\/p>\n

These three new devices will be available in three colours \u2013 Cosmic Grey, Cloud Blue, Cosmic Black.<\/p>\n
