{"id":380895,"date":"2020-03-11T12:07:40","date_gmt":"2020-03-11T10:07:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=380895"},"modified":"2020-03-11T12:47:52","modified_gmt":"2020-03-11T10:47:52","slug":"non-stop-load-shedding-until-further-notice-eskom","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/energy\/380895\/non-stop-load-shedding-until-further-notice-eskom\/","title":{"rendered":"Non-stop load shedding until further notice: Eskom"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Eskom says that load shedding will continue until further notice &#8211; with no stop time or date on the cards for now.<\/p>\n<p>The group implemented stage 4 load shedding on Tuesday due to further losses in generating capacity, after unit 1 at the Koeberg power station tripped due to a fault.<\/p>\n<p>This was reduced to stage 2 overnight, as demand decreased, but then ramped back up to stage 4 on Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n<p>This trend is expected to continue, without being suspended, until further notice, Eskom said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Eskom will continue implementing stage 4 load shedding until further notice.
