The regulations also state that stores will be prohibited from selling any other goods.<\/p>\n<p>You can find a full breakdown of the goods which will be allowed to be sold below.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Food\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Any food product &#8211; including non-alcoholic beverages. It is important to note that the sale of alcoholic beverages has been completely banned and that South Africans have also been prohibited from transporting alcohol;<\/li>\n<li>Animal (pet food);<\/li>\n<li>Chemicals, packaging and ancillary products used in the production of any food.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Cleaning and hygiene products\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Toilet paper, sanitary pads, sanitary tampons, condoms;<\/li>\n<li>Hand sanitiser, disinfectants, soap, alcohol for industrial use, household cleaning products, personal protective equipment;<\/li>\n<li>Chemicals, packaging and ancillary products used in the production of any of the above.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Medical\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Medical and hospital supplies, equipment and personal protective equipment;<\/li>\n<li>Chemicals, packaging and ancillary products used in the production of any of the above.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Fuel<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This includes gas and coal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Basic goods\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This includes airtime and electricity.
