{"id":38544,"date":"2013-06-01T14:03:46","date_gmt":"2013-06-01T12:03:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=38544"},"modified":"2013-06-01T14:04:48","modified_gmt":"2013-06-01T12:04:48","slug":"no-fireworks-for-global-software-market","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/software\/38544\/no-fireworks-for-global-software-market\/","title":{"rendered":"No fireworks for global software market"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The global software market forecast is set to continue on a modest growth trajectory through to 2017, according to the\u00a0International Data Corporation (IDC).<\/p>\n<p>For 2012, the worldwide software market grew 3.6% year over year, less than half the growth rate experienced in 2010 and 2011.<\/p>\n<p>IDC believes these results mark the beginning of a more conservative period of growth.
