T-Systems in South Africa has been awarded a SAP Application Management and Modernisation (AMM) contract by the Department of Water Affairs worth R67.5 million.<\/p>\n
The three-year agreement, awarded following a tender process, continues T-Systems\u2019 relationship with the DWA.<\/p>\n
The ICT provider was responsible for the implementation of a Revenue Stabilisation programme in 2010 to improve business systems and processes.<\/p>\n
MD of T-Systems in South Africa, Gert Schoonbee said: \u201cWe feel privileged to be yet again appointed a strategic ICT partner of the Department of Water Affairs.”<\/p>\n
“Our AMM methodology and implementation will undoubtedly enable the Department of Water Affairs to exploit the benefits of its SAP environment to in turn meet its core business objectives.”<\/p>\n
In March, listed ICT group Business Connexion secured a five year R420 million\u00a0IT Outsource deal with the DWA, beating off\u00a0rival bidders, T-Systems and EOH.<\/p>\n
