Media24 Magazines, a subsidiary of Naspers, has confirmed that it will cease to publish AdVantage Magazine, after 20 years of circulation.<\/p>\n
Advantage is a leading B2B magazine for the media, marketing, advertising industry in South Africa and claimed to have 20,000 readers each month.<\/p>\n
“It is with deep regret that we announce that\u00a0AdVantage Magazine\u00a0will be closing. The July issue will be the last the industry will see of this iconic publication. The\u00a0AdVantage\u00a0team would like to thank the industry, our readers and advertisers for their loyal support over the last 20 years,” the magazine said on its website.<\/p>\n
Media24 Magazines could not be contacted for additional comment.<\/p>\n
In June, Naspers<\/a>\u00a0owned online news publisher,\u00a024.com announced its decision to disband its Afrikaans\u00a0Nuus24 channel.<\/p>\n In December, iconic sports magazine\u00a0Sports Illustrated was also forced to cease\u00a0operation following\u00a0declining revenue and circulation figures, while\u00a0health and wellness title, Shape, closed in October 2012.<\/p>\n Nuus24 to close its doors<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\nMore on SA media<\/h3>\n
