In addition, a unit at the Koeberg station was synchronised into the grid on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>It said that it was, therefore, able to move to stage 1 load shedding. However, this has been short-lived.<\/p>\n<p>South African Mineral Resources and Energy minister Gwede Mantashe tested positive for Covid-19 as the nation struggles to end a new round of power cuts and curb the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, Bloomberg reported.<\/p>\n<p>Mantashe will remain in isolation with his wife and work from home, South Africa\u2019s presidency said in a statement late Tuesday.
