Office automation group, Itec has acquired a majority stake in Canon West Rand, in line with its strategy to grow its market reach and economies of scale.<\/p>\n
The new Itec dealer will trade as Itec Maximize and is to be merged with Itec Connect to create a stronger foothold in the West Rand\u2019s document output market, the group said.<\/p>\n
The combined Itec Maximize business has around 2,000 clients representing a spread of small, mid-sized and large businesses on the West Rand of Gauteng.<\/p>\n
Gavin Meyer, MD at Itec Connect said: \u201cThis transaction will certainly increase Itec\u2019s market share in the West Rand region.
