The index for July settled at 99 index points indicating little change in supply and demand in the local labour market, the jobs portal said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Recruitment activity increased by 7% from June to July 2020. There\u2019s a growing demand trend for skills in the medical &amp; health, business &amp; management, warehousing &amp; logistics and manufacturing &amp; assembly sectors,&#8221; the group said.<\/p>\n<p>Trending jobs for July 2020 include supervisors, systems\/network administrators and nursing\/professional care givers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Team Leader &amp; Supervisor<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Average salary offerings for intermediate level positions per month:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>GP: R 23,708 to R 31,956<\/li>\n<li>WC: R 25,321 to R 28,361<\/li>\n<li>KZN:\u00a0 R 18,009 to R 24,921<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Systems \/ Network Administration<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Average salary offerings for intermediate level positions per month:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>GP: R 32,929 to R 44,761<\/li>\n<li>WC: R 32,598 to R 40,455<\/li>\n<li>KZN: R 34,667 to R 38,704<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Nursing \/ Professional Care Giving<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Average salary offerings for intermediate level positions per month:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>GP:\u00a0 R 22,868 to R 32,229<\/li>\n<li>WC: R 23,030 to R 32,104<\/li>\n<li>KZN: R 20,800 to R 30,033<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The most wanted skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to CareerJunction, the three most in-demand skills in the country at the moment are\u00a0<strong>software developers<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>middle\/department managers<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>representatives or sales consultants<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Despite a decrease in hiring activity for software developers during the last four months, programming and software development skills remain the most in-demand skill set in the local labour market, the group said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Demand for managerial skills is showing consistent growth over the past two months.
