South African motorists can expect muted fuel price changes in September, with new data<\/a><\/strong> from the Central Energy fund showing that there will likely be modest relief for embattled consumers.<\/p>\n

Commenting on the price, the Automobile Association (AA) said that 95 octane petrol is expected to drop by around four cents a litre, with diesel down by 19 cents, and illuminating paraffin by 24 cents.<\/p>\n

The only fuel type set for an increase is 93 octane petrol, which will climb by about six cents a litre, the AA said.<\/p>\n

The AA said that the retreat in oil prices has pushed petroleum costs lower, however, rand weakness against the dollar negated some of the decrease.<\/p>\n
