{"id":431220,"date":"2020-09-03T17:37:09","date_gmt":"2020-09-03T15:37:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=431220"},"modified":"2020-09-03T17:37:09","modified_gmt":"2020-09-03T15:37:09","slug":"stage-3-load-shedding-on-friday-with-outages-continuing-into-the-weekend","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/energy\/431220\/stage-3-load-shedding-on-friday-with-outages-continuing-into-the-weekend\/","title":{"rendered":"Stage 3 load shedding on Friday &#8211; with outages continuing into the weekend"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Eskom says that it will reduce load shedding to stage 3 on Friday &#8211; though rolling blackouts will continue into the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Stage 3 load shedding will be implemented from 08h00 to 22h00 on Friday, with further changes and forecasts for the weekend to be announced as they occur.<\/p>\n<p>The reduction to stage 3 is due to reduced demand and improved weather, it said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;In order to replenish emergency generation reserves, load shedding will continue into the weekend.
