{"id":43529,"date":"2013-08-02T08:35:55","date_gmt":"2013-08-02T06:35:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=43529"},"modified":"2013-08-02T08:45:59","modified_gmt":"2013-08-02T06:45:59","slug":"vodafone-merges-eu-units","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/mobile\/43529\/vodafone-merges-eu-units\/","title":{"rendered":"Vodafone merges EU units"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Vodafone said on Thursday it would merge its northern, central and southern European regions into one unit which will be led by Philipp Humm.<\/p>\n<p>Under the reorganization to take place on October 1, the group&#8217;s successful Turkish division will fit into the Africa, Middle East and Asia-Pacific unit.<\/p>\n<p>Paolo Bertoluzzo, currently the head of southern Europe, will become the group&#8217;s commercial and operations officer.
