Datacentrix<\/a>, the listed IT solutions provider has\u00a0entered into an agreement to acquire 100% of \u00a0internet service and networks specialist,\u00a0eNetworks<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The value of the deal was not disclosed.<\/p>\n

eNetworks was established in 1999 and provides bandwidth and internet services\u00a0including cloud hosting, web hosting and VoIP.<\/p>\n

Based in Cape Town, the company has core\u00a0infrastructure located in data centres in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban.<\/p>\n

The group also boasts expertise in WAN services, internet access provisioning,
\nsecurity, and e-mail systems.<\/p>\n

By way of rationale for the acquisition Datacentrix, says it aims to grow\u00a0and enhance its cloud computing capabilities.<\/p>\n

“The acquisition provides Datacentrix access to highly skilled resources, electronic communications\u00a0networks and licences, thereby strengthening Datacentrix\u00b4 capability to build, operate and provide\u00a0network services,” the group said.<\/p>\n

All conditions of the purchase need to be fulfilled by no later than September 30, 2013.<\/p>\n
