Volkswagen has announced the launch of its most powerful bakkie yet, with its new Amarok Double Cab able to produce 190kW of power.<\/p>\n
The model, which launched as part of a celebration of 10 years of Amarok in South Africa, is also the most expensive bakkie option sold by Volkswagen, at just under a R1 million.<\/p>\n
The German carmaker said that its most powerful Amarok distinguishes itself from the rest of the range through a new 3.0-litre V6 190kW TDI engine, which has 25kW more power as well as 30Nm more torque than the outgoing 165kW derivative.<\/p>\n
