IT components distributor, Platinum Micro will merge with Tarsus Technologies on 1 October 2013 as a part of a\u00a0streamlining process within the MB Technologies Group.<\/p>\n
MB Technologies Group\u00a0majority shareholder is Royal Bafokeng Holdings.<\/p>\n
“The integration combines the strengths of both companies and allows\u00a0for leveraging of resources and industry expertise to deliver a\u00a0richer, more comprehensive and unparalleled customer experience,” the groups said in a joint statement.<\/p>\n
The move is also a precursor to the planned move to MB Technologies new 30,000sqm warehouse and distribution facility in\u00a0Waterfall Commercial District, Woodmead, Gauteng, in December 2013.<\/p>\n
The merger will also provide customers with improved efficiencies in\u00a0distribution, management, operations and overall service delivery, the group’s said with product portfolios to be integrated.<\/p>\n
Tarsus\u2019 head office is situated in Johannesburg with branches in Cape\u00a0Town, KwaZulu-Natal, Port Elizabeth, Bloemfontein and Nelspruit.<\/p>\n
The group has also extended its footprint into Africa with branches in\u00a0Namibia, Botswana and Mauritius.<\/p>\n
