He announced in August that he would retire within 12 months.

More on Microsoft

Microsoft CEO set to retire

Microsoft gave user data to Prism: report

Microsoft confirms Windows security flaw

Ballmer tightens grip as Microsoft restructures

Outgoing Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer said Thursday his biggest regret is missing the boat on smartphones

[3
25,169,1894,2132
post-46317","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-software","tag-active","tag-microsoft","tag-steve-ballmer","tag-windows
["GET
