{"id":465754,"date":"2021-02-05T09:50:53","date_gmt":"2021-02-05T07:50:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=465754"},"modified":"2021-02-05T10:22:45","modified_gmt":"2021-02-05T08:22:45","slug":"eskom-implements-stage-2-load-shedding-from-friday-to-sunday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/energy\/465754\/eskom-implements-stage-2-load-shedding-from-friday-to-sunday\/","title":{"rendered":"Eskom implements stage 2 load shedding from Friday to Sunday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Eskom has announced that it will introduce stage 2 load shedding starting at 12h00 on Friday afternoon (5 February).<\/p>\n<p>The embattled power utility said that the power cuts will continue until 23h00 on Sunday evening (7 February).<\/p>\n<p>Eskom said that the load shedding has been exacerbated by the shutdown of generating units at its Medupi power station.
