Blue Label Telecoms has announced that its financial\u00a0director, David Rivkind, has resigned, with\u00a0effect from 14 November 2013, being the date on which\u00a0his employment contract expires.<\/p>\n
“David decided to resign to enable him to pursue other opportunities. David has made an
\noutstanding contribution to Blue Label and its stakeholders,” Blue Label said in a statement on Tuesday (31 September).<\/p>\n
“The board both respects and appreciates the unwavering commitment and skill which David has invested and demonstrated in\u00a0the performance of his duties.”<\/p>\n
The group said that\u00a0Dean Suntup, the financial director of Blue Label’s\u00a0prepaid airtime card distribution business –\u00a0The Prepaid Company – since 2005, “has\u00a0always been earmarked as David\u00b4s successor to assume the position of financial director of the\u00a0group”.<\/p>\n
“The board has every confidence that Dean will step into David\u00b4s shoes and will acquit
\nhimself with the same distinction and competence as David has done,” Blue Label said.<\/p>\n
