South African rugby franchise, The Sharks have announced that Cell C is to become its new title sponsor on a new three-year deal, effective from the 1st January 2014.<\/p>\n
This sponsorship will see the Cell C brand emblazoned on the playing kit of The Sharks
\nProfessional Teams, The KwaZulu-Natal Amateur and Schools teams as well as The Sharks
\nAcademy.<\/p>\n
Cell C, the new title sponsor, has also acquired naming rights for The Sharks professional teams,\u00a0to be known as the Cell C Sharks, from\u00a0January\u00a02014.<\/p>\n
The Sharks CEO, John Smit said: \u201cWe are proud to welcome Cell C to The Sharks family. This\u00a0partnership brings together two iconic South African brands who share similar values and a\u00a0pioneering spirit. Our goal is to be the best franchise in the country and we believe there is great\u00a0synergy between our two entities.”<\/p>\n
