{"id":47403,"date":"2013-10-09T16:11:59","date_gmt":"2013-10-09T14:11:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=47403"},"modified":"2013-10-09T16:14:12","modified_gmt":"2013-10-09T14:14:12","slug":"orange-extends-nashua-mobile-partnership","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/mobile\/47403\/orange-extends-nashua-mobile-partnership\/","title":{"rendered":"Orange extends Nashua Mobile partnership"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Orange, in\u00a0partnership with Nashua Mobile, is now offering services for those traveling to the United Kingdom and\u00a0the Ivory Coast.<\/p>\n<p>This follows a previous announcement in June 2013, in which Orange launched a<br \/>\npartnership with Nashua Mobile to offer such services for travellers to and from Botswana and France,\u00a0and the establishment of Orange corners within select Nashua Mobile stores.<\/p>\n<p>S\u00e9bastien Crozier, CEO of Orange Horizons said: \u201cIt is important for travellers to be able to communicate with friends, family and business associates while travelling; however, the high costs\u00a0associated with global roaming call and data services puts a damper on the joy and excitement of\u00a0travelling.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Orange offers travelers the option to do so at local rates, therefore avoiding the high roaming\u00a0costs associated with traveling abroad. We make it even easier by offering them locally, so customers\u00a0can purchase the products before going to their destination so that they know the number that will be in\u00a0use.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Nashua Mobile CEO Mark Taylor said: \u201cThe Orange UK products will enable our customers to save time\u00a0and money when they visit one of the most popular international tourism and business destinations for\u00a0South Africans.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>United Kingdom Products<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Orange is offering South African travelers an Orange\u00a0UK SIM card, already loaded with either \u00a310 or \u00a330 credit. Once you have loaded the SIM card into a\u00a0phone, you will then need to choose the best prepaid plan depending on their needs while abroad.<\/p>\n<p>The \u00a310 credit SIM card is priced at R200 plus a R40 transaction fee ; the \u00a330 credit SIM card is\u00a0available for R550plus a R110 transaction fee.<\/p>\n<p><strong>C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire Products<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For travelers going to C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire, a prepaid SIM card is available at R11 plus a R5 transaction fee.<\/p>\n<p>This\u00a0SIM card will be pre-loaded with 500F. \u201cThis is called Formule Seconde.
