{"id":47566,"date":"2013-10-14T09:00:50","date_gmt":"2013-10-14T07:00:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=47566"},"modified":"2013-10-14T10:50:06","modified_gmt":"2013-10-14T08:50:06","slug":"e-toll-non-payers-could-end-up-in-special-court","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/trending\/47566\/e-toll-non-payers-could-end-up-in-special-court\/","title":{"rendered":"E-toll non-payers could end up in special court"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The South African Roads Agency (<a title=\"Sanral\" href=\"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/1722-SANRAL-South-African-National-Roads-Association-Limited\">Sanral<\/a>) and the Justice Department were discussing the possibility of establishing special courts where e-toll non-payers could be prosecuted, Beeld reported on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Justice Department spokesman <a title=\"Mthunzi Mhaga\" href=\"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/10490-Mthunzi-Mhaga\">Mthunzi Mhaga<\/a> reportedly said Sanral had asked for such a court.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are still talking about what would be the best method.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) and the department of justice said they &#8220;could not speculate&#8221;
