Datatec, the listed ICT group says its\u00a0subsidiary Logicalis Group, has\u00a0acquired iConsult, a Channel Islands based\u00a0provider of hosted desktop and mail solutions.<\/p>\n
The purchase will be made through Logicalis\u00b4 wholly owned local subsidiary\u00a0Logicalis Jersey.<\/p>\n
Datatec says that the transaction will strengthen the current IT services positioning of the
\nbusiness which is ideally suited to fiduciary customers headquartered in\u00a0the Channel Islands.<\/p>\n
Almost all iConsult’s annual revenues of approximately\u00a0$2.0 million are annuity in nature. iConsult will be integrated with\u00a0Logicalis’ existing Channel Islands operation.<\/p>\n
Jens Montanana, Datatec’s chief executive said:\u00a0“This acquisition adds scale to the Logicalis Managed Services offering in\u00a0the Channel Islands which it acquired through the acquisition of the\u00a0European subsidiaries of 2e2 in March this year.<\/p>\n
“We can now deliver cloud-\u00a0based & hosted desktop and BYOD services to a larger customer base in the\u00a0Channel Islands and increase Logicalis\u00b4 revenue annuity base.”<\/p>\n
