Facebook said its network experienced an ‘issue’ during\u00a0network maintenance which\u00a0prevented some users from posting on the site.<\/p>\n
The group issues out the following statement:<\/p>\n
“Earlier this morning, while performing some network maintenance, we experienced an issue that prevented some users from posting to Facebook for a brief period of time. We resolved the issue quickly, and we are now back to 100%. We’re sorry for any inconvenience we may have caused.”<\/em><\/p>\n According to various reports, as well as numerous comments on social media site Twitter, users were greeted with the message \u201cThere was a problem updating your status. Please try again in a few minutes,\u201d when trying to use massively popular social media site.<\/p>\n Facebook has a\u00a0user base\u00a0of nearly 1.2 billion people.
